So its been another crazy month in the world of wedding photography. I have one favourite wedding for this month and that was Emma and Mathews wedding on the 24th. They had taken so much time and though to make sure there wedding was like a fairy tale. The gents looked fab in top hats and the girls were pretty in pink. As the reception was at the Guild Hall in Hull we took a walk down to queens gardens to get some shots. Here are a few of my personal favourites. I would like to say thanks guys it really was a dream wedding and a pleasure to photograph.

So since I got home we have hit the wedding season and so far what a season it is turning out to be... we have had some magnificent weather but the luckyest couple was Hayley and Stu who got married at the Village Hotel in Hessle. There day was full of big blue skys and tiffinay coloured charm. I have put a few photos up from the wedding as we were lucky enough to make it down to Hessle foreshore for a little on location shoot.
Although not everyone this season has been as lucky as Hayley and Stu weather wise we were able to make the most of what we got. Below are some images from Sarah and John's wedding at Cottingham Church and then a reception at Willaby Manor. Even though the weather was a little on the rainy side we used this to our advantage got they brollys out and got some photographs with a real vintage charm. We didnt let the weather get us down and everyone enjoyed the entire day. 1st June 2010

As we were on the out skirts of Mombassa we had to go and see the real Kenya. We took a day trip in to the city where we met with our guide he took us to the Coop wood carvery where they carve all the wooden animals and trible masks that you oftern see in the ethnic shops. After that we went around some of the hindu temples, through the old parts of Mombassa and then into the spice market.
The thing about the Kenyans is even though they dont have a lot and work insanley hard for what little they do have they are always so happy and friendley to everyone. It is pretty much impossible to walk past someone with out a friendley smile followed by “Jambo”. They are always very proud of there work and are eagar to show you. It really put things into prospective for me and showed me that I really am lucky to have what I have and we should all be proud of what ever we acchive be it big or small.
Below are some more photos to give you another taster of Kenya. Enjoy!
