Last week I was invited to photograph the intimate family wedding of Will and Rachel, when I arrived it was one of those perfect autumn days. The sun was out with a crispness to the air. Sadly the weather didn’t want to stay on our side for long and the heavens opened. But in between the showers we were able to get out and enjoy the wonderful fall light that you only get at this time of year.

Autumn really is my favourite time of year, I love all cinnamon filled seasonal eats and crisp evenings filled with the smell of bonfires. But what I love most of all is the fiery colours of the trees at this time of year. It is like mother natures last fair well before the winter comes.

On Friday I joined Tessa and John for there intimate wedding in Swanland followed by a wonderful family gathering at Tickton Grange. The morning had started out foggy but the day soon brightened and we were about to get out and take advantage of all those wonderful Autumn colours.
